Firm Announcement – John Buza

We are extremely proud to announce that John Buza has joined the firm as partner, making us Konta Georges & Buza P.C.

John is a former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney who brings a thriving private practice to the firm. He’s a talented and well-respected lawyer who has already had a very impressive career.

Since leaving the District Attorney’s Office, John has established himself as a well-rounded litigator who has gotten numerous acquittals and dismissals for his clients in both state and federal court. John is a member of the Criminal Justice Act in both the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, an impressive distinction shared by only a select few attorneys in New York.

John is member of the City Bar of New York and the New York State of Criminal Defense Attorneys. He also sits on the Attorney Disciplinary Committee of the First Department.

This past year has taught us that strong partnerships and real teamwork are needed to survive, and even more so to excel. It has been a time of great change in the legal system, both in court and in how cases are litigated out of court. Our team has quickly adjusted to appearing in court virtually and we have tirelessly fought to preserve our clients’ rights in our criminal defense, personal injury and false arrest practice areas.

We have known John for years and we are thrilled that he has chosen to continue his career with us as we grow our firm.
